Amazing little place with absolutely STUFFED Cheesesteaks! Glad we stopped in. We'll certainly be back.

Good food sweet service

This is THE place to go for Philly cheese steaks. The sandwiches are served on fresh sub rolls and can't be beat for their low price and taste. They also have an outside deck if you feel like sitting in the July heat.

Been here before several years ago and found cheesesteaks to be very tasty. Tonight...cheese steaks were taste less. Yet they were nice size..Charged extra to leave off onions...really. Service was slow and our server very inattentive. What happened?? Nice deck though.

No reason to wait an hour for a carry out order.

Ordered a chicken cheese steak it was awful. More onion and than chicken. Told them light on the sauce, could not hold it without my fingers going through the sauce soaked bun. Will have to think twice before going back again.

Terrible. Just utterly disgusting. Never get our order right. And when i called back the manager was very rude. I would not reccomend ordering subs from here. They never seem to get the orders right.

Sorry too many onions in the she steak, and The mushrooms were very soggy and tough that we wanted on the top of our cheese steak. Thank you but get a leg up

I tried one of their steak sandwiches after years of reading how top rated they were. maybe they were good or maybe people never had a good cheesesteak . the roll was soaked through with water? it really wasn't useful. the primary flavor was pepper. why? it was a big sandwich for ten bucks. if a lot of sandwich for not much money is what you want then this is the place

For the last 30+ years this has been the best place for cheesesteaks and cheeseburger subs in Lancaster county... and likely a bigger area than that. Business now being handed down to 2nd generation. As of nov1st '17 they take credit cards!!! I was shocked. Prices are amazingly low for the sizes. Last time I was there I met the owner. Very down to earth guy.

Great subs for a great price

Visited on a busy Saturday afternoon. Bartender/waiter was busy but did a great job. Steak sub with cheese and sauce was great as always. We get here about once or twice a year the last 20+ years and never have been disappointed. Probably a good thing I don't live close.

Stopped here to get something to eat on a Wednesday night. 1st time I was here in 25 plus years. The place was not busy at all. The waitress was friendly and professional. Service was fast. The beer was good. Ordered the cheesesteak. The large is very large. This is not a traditional Philly Cheesesteak. It was not bad just different. Thought it was odd they charge extra for cheese on a cheesesteak.

The Cheesesteaks are still AmAzInG !! I haven't had one since I was a child . Got another one last night ! Yummy !!!

If you in a hurry go somewhere else!Waited 45 mins for a sub and an order of chicken fingers, then another 8 mins for frys.Server said kitchen is "swamped " but we were 1 of only five tables waiting.

I like the concept here: small dive bar with nice deck and good size eating area- take out is located separately- they are known for their cheese steaks but actually their other subs are better -- cheese steaks have gone down hill over the past few years -- the last one i had the meat was obviously frozen and was unseasoned and it's odd to say but it tasted watery-- i like to go here for lunch when im passing through Columbia

Best subs around. Especially an old fashioned cold cut sub. Been going here since childhood. Great prices.Where I live it takes us 45 minutes to get to Smith's, YES they are that good.

Best cheesesteaks around! Mouth watering good. Must get the large at least once. They're huge you'll be blown away. Great prices, more than generous servings, friendly staff, and fast service! Smith's is a MUST try and a local favorite. They also have adult beverages to-go.

Busy place, often they don't write your order down. We've had issues on multiple occasions where orders have been clearly stated but made inaccurately. Even so, still a favorite sub shop.

Great place to get food

Cheesesteaks. Cheesesteaks. Cheesesteaks. Don't look much further than our local, iconic Smith's Hotel for a great cheesesteak. That is pretty much the only thing I ever get at Smith's. I'm sure the other food is good, too.

Excellent sandwiches, especially the massive Cheesesteaks. Also, it is very close to my place.

We had a sweet bologna sub and cheeseburger sub. Both were excellent. Our waitress was very attentive and serviced all her tables with the same effort. Great job.

I went to Smiths in Columbia with 2 good friends. I had a cheese steak and it was very good. One had a cheeseburger. We all enjoyed our lunch. Would go back

Love there steaks and Turkey sub.

Ordered over the phone and told them no sauce. They even repeated back the order saying no sauce. Picked up order and drove home and guess what. They put sauce on it. Waste of 8 bucks for sure. Would give negative stars if I could.

This place has gone down hill. Cold cheesesteak thatbthe cheese did not even begin to melt along with a smart comment from wait staff.

We have been going to Smith's for over 25 years. We have even travel from Lebanon to eat their great food. Everything is always great and the Sandwich guru does a terrific job. We have even made a special stop there when we come home to visit from Puerto Rico where we live. Keep up the great job!!!I

Love there cheese steaksVery good, the best I had

Smith's was my very first cheese steak experience back when I was still in Elementary School. Every cheese steak after that never held up. The portions are large so prepare for having some left over for round to of delicious goodness. The bread isn't amazing or homemade or anything but that's not to say it's bad. Definitely had good flavor and doesn't get super soggy if you do take out. Prices are great too. Highly recommend.

Loved this place! The subs were gigantic and delicious and the food was ready quicky. The staff were friendly and attentive.
